*REMINDERS*

*Please DO NOT park in the drop-off lane in the morning OR in the teacher parking lot (IN THE BACK). It is meant to be a rolling drop-off. ADULTS must remain in their vehicles. 

*If you want to walk your child to the entrance, please park at Hormel and walk over!

Valentine Grams

We are selling Valentine Gram Bracelets to staff and students to send to their teachers/friends.

To do this, WE NEED VOLUNTEERS from each grade level to help assemble the grams and distribute them. 

Bracelets will be $2 EACH 

OR 

 you can purchase for an entire class for $20! 


Assembling will be on Mon, Feb 12th during the school day 

Distribution will be on Wed. February 14th at the end of the day

March Raffle Calendar

Back for the 2nd year, the March Raffle Calendar is live for sale until February 26th.

 Prizes will be drawn DAILY during the month of March. 


Calendars are $10 each! We are hoping every student will be able to sell at least 5 calendars.

A huge thanks to Kassandra Bates for organizing the calendar and getting many of the prizes donated.

BOX TOP COMPETITION

Starting February 1st, each grade will compete to be the TOP Box Top contributor.

At the end of the month, the grade with the most Box Tops will win a SURPRISE!

This will add extra Box Tops for participating items (Ex: Earn 50 Bonus Box Tops when you buy 5 items at Market Basket, Earn 40 Bonus Box Tops when you buy 5 items at Target.) 

5th Grade Fundraiser

During lunch, the 5th-grade students will still be selling Winter Hats and 2 designs of Croc Charms. 

HATS are $20 and Croc Charms are $4 each (Mustang and M)

Please consider purchasing a warm Medford hat or Medford Croc Charm to support the 5th-grade students!

*All Money raised will go toward funding their end-of-the-year activities before they move on to Middle School! *

March READ-A-THON

We will be kicking off our annual Read-A-Thon starting Monday, March 3rd until Friday, March 15th! 

Families will have the opportunity to set up an online account for their students to receive donations AND to log their minutes each day! 

During the Read-a-Thon, we will be asking mystery readers to come in to read to different classes, we will have a Favorite book character-themed day. We are also working on finding a local author or 2 to come in for a whole school presentation.

The top READERS from each grade will be celebrated by Mayor Lungo-Koehn at a ceremony in the Spring at the library.

Textile Donation Bin- Looking to clean out your closet? Bag everything up and put into the RIGHT WHITE Bin in front of the school (Near the stop off lane). It is labeled McGlynn Elementary School so we get credit! We receive a check every month depending on the weight of the items in the bin.
